Homer & Garner's trip to the beach...

Recently we've been going to the Teluk Kumbar beach, bringing along Homer (the BullDog) and Garner (the French Mastiff) for a bath in the sea :P Last Saturday we went again, this time, I brought my camera along with me...I had to take pictures of them, they were so cute...Garner was always busy barking at the stray dogs there...tugging and pulling us along, trying to chase after them...nearly making me trip and fall a few times...and Homer, he gets soooo tired after a short swim, it seems as though he might die of a heart attack...hahaha...he is the cutest thing...

This is the beach...with many fishing boats there...Teluk Kumbar is basically a fishing village...
This is Homer, the BullDog...all nice and dry...

...until we drag him into the sea for a short swim...hahaha...

he will paddle to the beach...and the moment his paws touch the beach...he is so tired that he is unable to move another inch...he will rest there for a minute or 2 before slowly walking up the beach to rest...

...resting...

...and...resting...hehehe...

...whereas Garner, the naughty and active one...is able to swim a few times......without getting too tired and is still able to run around the beach...barking and trying to chase after stray dogs...looking for a fight...GGGggggrrrrrr... ...time for another swim...
this is the other side of the beach...
This pondok caught my eye...so I went nearer and...

...it was a PONDOK POLIS MARIN UTARA...hahahahaha...

"Cakes are supposed to be light"...who says!!!

Today was a frustrating day, full of arguments...it might be the crazy hot weather that is making everyone go crazy but tempers are flaring today...and since I work with my bro, I have been arguing with him all day today and none of us were willing to give in.

We went out for lunch and he mentioned that he needed me to drop him off at Gama to buy a birthday cake from Four Leaves...we went to GP for lunch first then when we left he reminded me of the cake and asked me to go to Gama and I was like...so far ah...no parking some more, so I suggested Jenny's cake house to him and he immediately said "NO LA, Jenny's cakes are TERRIBLE, I dunno why anyone would even buy her cakes, the last time I bought one for freaking 40 bucks and I took one mouth and I already cannot take the second"...I was like..wah, which cake did you buy from her that gave you such a reaction? her cakes are generally good, not the best, but edible & good, it is one of the most popular cake shops in Penang...I find her cakes not too bad, some are in fact pretty good...for a dessert queen like me, I thought her cakes were quite alrite and not too expensive...good for birthdays...so I asked him y he tot they were bad and he said cakes are supposed to be light..."???????????"...Jenny's is very rich and filling, he says...

Although I felt my temper rising already, I told him patiently that it is not jenny's cakes that r not nice, but it is him who prefers light cakes...it is NOT that cakes r supposed to be light...there is no such thing...there is no rule that says that cakes are supposed to be light...but only that he PREFERS light cakes...so I argued n said that he shld just say that he does not like jenny's becos he prefers light cakes...but he cannot just say that they r so terrible that he does not understand y any1 would even buy it...it indirectly indicates that we, ppl who buy her cakes, r either stupid or do not know wat real cakes are supposed to be like...this made me piss...I insisted that it is just simply personal preferance, he likes light cakes, that's all...it is probably a stupid argument, but I just couldnt take his statement...hahaha...

My MSN horoscope sent me this today...

"Something or someone may be charging right at you fast and furiously today, Jessie. Take their words with a grain of salt. They could very well be full of a great deal of hot air. Stick with what you know to be real. Something may be rubbing you the wrong way and there might be a slight disturbance in your daily routine. Be patient and levelheaded. Sit down and have someone rub your shoulders for a while. Try not to take things too seriously."

...hahaha...coincidence??? oh well...so, I think I'll go shopping to relax myself now...Have a great weekend, guys...................... :)

Say "CHEESE"...

I was using the fax machine just now, which is on my bro's table next to mine, and as I was waiting for the fax to go through, I looked at his PC screen saver and noticed TWO big smiles looking at me...it was none other than Jon & Ashley's...hehehe...these 2 monsters really have super cute smiles...then I remembered this picture of Jern with a really cheeky look...and immediately I went into action...I opened the picture files from my pc and put all these 3 pictures together...HAHahahahahahaha...ayo...I laughed like mad at my masterpiece...the sight of these 3 monkeys put together...and from these pictures, you can tell their characters already...the Smart one, the Duh one & the Cheeky one...hahaha...

Shoes, shoes, ... shoes

For the past few years, I've been travelling to Bangkok for shopping trips. I will bring an empty luggage, throw an empty hand luggage into my big luggage and return with a VERY full big luggage and a super bulky hand luggage that I usually have difficulty zipping up. I would usually buy lots and lots of clothing, but not many shoes though bcos I have always had the impression that the cheap shoes sold in Bkk are usually not comfortable or not lasting (which I found out on my recent trip that I was so wrong...haha...they r actually quite comfortable, better than Vincci and cheaper too, and I bought FOUR pairs), but the good & nice shoes are always too expensive to buy, so it has always been clothing, handbags and accessories and occassionally one good pair of irresistable shoes that are usually quite expensive :P So, with all these fantastic shopping trips to Bkk, I would rarely shop in Malaysia. But, for the past few months, I've been shopping quite a bit here to release stress & tension...What stress & tension?? some of you might ask...well, it doesn't have to be because of work, it can be other reasons, PMS maybe? HAHA...or just something that triggered anger & frustration or disappointment in me...but ever since my sister's wardrobe's hanging bar collapsed under the weight of my clothing and my own wardrobe bursting out and my mom nagging me about wasting so much money on clothing, I have turned to buying SHOES & some, only SOME, occassional clothing to release the tension. In order to FULLY satisfy my shopping craze, I have been buying lots and lots of shoes...now my mom threatens to throw them out if I do not wear them soon :P I have so many to the extent, I've got almost 6-8 pairs which I have never worn before...I have about 10 which I've never worn more than 3 times...I know...it's terrible, but I can't help it...when I see a nice pair of shoe, I just buy it...but I never get the chance to wear them :S If any of you have read the Shopoholic series, you guys will know what I mean...hahaha...I am something like that...BUT not to that extent lah!

I recently watched "In Her Shoes" starring Cameron Diaz & Toni Collette...In this movie, Toni had a wardrobe full of NEW & beautiful shoes that she never/rarely wears...and I laughed at myself when I saw that scene, it reminded me of ME...hahaha...I buy them but never seem to find the occassion to wear them to...in fact most of the time, I forget what shoes I have...then when I am free at home, I go through all my shoe boxes only to realise, huh?? I have this shoe???...hahaha :P How I wish I had that type of wardrobe for my shoes...all lined up, then MAYBE I'd remember to wear them...and be able to find an occassion to wear them to...

A few months back, I bought about 12 shoes within a month!!! I have them all in my room, so last month as I was sitting in my room, I looked at my collection of shoes and started counting the number of pairs that I've got and I SHOCKED myself...I have about 70 pairs of shoes AND then I remembered...I have another 10 pairs at Sam's house!!! Oh my!!!...I took some pictures of my shoe collection...here it is...

Wait!! There is more...ON TOP...and behind the Eclipse shoe boxes...in RED...

Oh...and behind the wall of shoe boxes...MORE shoes...

...and some more here beside the bedroom door...

and oh...before I forget...just outside my bedroom...hahaha...

...plus the 10 pairs at Sam's place :P

So, now I try my very best to refrain from buying any more and I am reminding myself everyday to wear different clothes, different shoes, go through my boxes of accessories and find something to match & wear - from earrings, necklaces, hairbands, hair clips, bangles, watches, handbags, belts...etc - I have to wear them all and make it worth the money spent...otherwise, like my mom always nags...it is a WASTE of money!!! I know, I know...sigh...but I am only FEMALE...muahahaha... :P
