Look at that smile...haha...and this is Jon...2 mnths old...he was so cute...

Ash - taken last year February when they were back in Penang for holiday...growing up to be quite a sweet little girl, on the outside,...but with a scary monstrous character...haha...natural born leader...

At CRC restaurant...she loves to eat & play with rice...her record is 2 small bowls of rice, 1.5 bowls managed to go into her tummy, the rest...all over the table & floor :P

and yea..."shit" happens...oops...I mean..."spit" happens...hahaha...

Jon's butt says he is a "good" boy...muahaha...how deceiving...never judge a book by its cover...muahahaha...

Gotta hide it...cos me no "good" boy...

My bro calls him cheekybabe, munchkins, chipmunk...although it sounds gerli...but it really suits him la...he really really looks like a chipmunk and he is really cheeky...cannot tahan him...

but I've got to admit that his charms are addictive...he has gotten us all under his spell...

December 2006, Ash & Jon are back in Penang for holidays again...and they are already 2 year 2mnths+

Korea Dec 2006 - Buffet dinner...Ggrrrrrr...cut queue, cut queue all the hongkie ppl can't wait to eat, they had to cut queue...how terrible...HARLO...PLEASE QUEUE UP!!! Korea Dec 2006 - Korean BBQ restaurant...super YUMMY!!! The pork spare ribs, the smoked duck, the very very thinly sliced beef...oh my...and the kimchi...damn good...go with beer...DELICIOUS!!! I know we look bored, but actually we were really tired, it was already almost 11pm that time and we started dinner at 10pm.
6 Nov 2005 - Moredo's, KL...my birthday Green Tea cake from Howy & Tee...but something was missing from that cake...the red beans...Howy asked for "more" red beans, but I think the lady at the bakery heard "no" red beans...hahahaha...but just as yummy with/without the red beans...

A few weeks ago, while Sam & I were in KL, just before Christmas, we made a quick Christmas shopping trip to Mid Valley. As usual, we bought books for Sam's sis & bro for their X'mas presents...hehe...no toys from me...it is all books, too bad if they think it is boring...or if they do not even touch it or read it...I am still going to stick to buying books for them. Maybe when they grow older, I might buy other things, but NO toys from me.

Anyway, I found a "Every day thoughts calender - Words to Woof by, 365 Smiles for Dog Lovers". The word "for Dog Lovers" caught my attention...I am a dog lover, so it is for ME :P without looking at how much it costs, I picked it up and told Sam, I've got to buy this...he asked, "what's that?", I said it is a calender for Dog Lover's...hahaha...it costs RM29.90 :P This thick calender is the first thing that puts a smile on my face every morning when I reach the office. I will flick it for the next day and read the quotes and smile. Today the quote is, as stated above. I put this same quote on my msn display and Howard asked, "err...should ur disply msg triggered the people thought of asking "how about ur husband/boyfriend?"...confused, I asked him to read the quote properly...first of all, I do think that my dogs loves me more than I love myself :) and secondly, I also think that my dogs are the only thing on earth that loves me more than I love myself. Also, it does not say that "a dog is the only one on earth that loves me"...if this is how it was stated, then yes, he is "probably" right to ask that question. But, first of all, humans are not things, although in my mind & heart, I do not refer to my dogs as things, I treat them like "human beings", but in english, they are referred to as "things", which is quite sad. But, sadly I also do think that the unconditional love that my dogs give me is nothing compared to the love a human can give me. Call me crazy, but which boyfriend/husband will allow their girlfriends/wives to hit & scold them without answering back or putting up a fight? Which boyfriend/husband will allow their girlfriends/wives to hug them while they lay very still for us to hug & kiss. Which boyfriend/husband will sit in front of us patiently and watch us cry our eyes out when we are sad & listen to us nag/complain our hearts out and give us the pity look and give us a kiss when we are done? Which boyfriend/husband will give their girlfriends/wives unlimited number of kisses until we say stop, enough...hahaha...Which boyfriend/husband will be soooooo happy to see their girlfriends/wives that they jump up & down with joy everyday when they we reach home. Which boyfriend/husband will obey their girlfriends/wives when given an instruction? Ah...you see...the answer is NONE...well...maybe 0.000000000000000000001% of the population of the world of men is 1/6 of the things I just described...haha...but this is the fact. Now, I know why I love my dogs sooooooo much.

One month after we bought Homer, we discovered that he had a deadly mange in his body, slowly eating him from the inside...after spending thousands of dollars and after MANY months of treatment, we was finally cured of the deadly mange. In the beginning, we were told by the vet that we should probably just put him to sleep...but no way...if there is a chance of survival, we are going to make sure that we give him that chance. When he was fully cured, the thousands of dollars spent and the time & effort that we had put in was nothing compared to seeing him well & healthy again :)

whether she really did say it or not, it doesn't matter, but to me...reading this...made me smile...I am a sucker for quotes like this that *snap**snap* wakes me up and calls me back to earth...I read the papers, msn.com, magazines, etc...just to find quotes like this to make me smile and think about things...I might be unhappy for a few goods days or weeks before a "happy" quote appears and enlightens me...haha...how silly hor...but it works for me :P

A new blog, a new look (I just permed my hair and this time it turned out the way it was supposed to just after ONE perm...woo-hoo!!), a new year (2007), a new me...unmasked!!!

Yes, I have decided to start a new blog which reveals ME!!! :P I have spent the last many months hiding myself behind posts, in another blog, that were carefully written and composed without revealing any identity. But, I find that really difficult sometimes, so I've decide to let it all out in the open...hahaha...so, this blog is all about me making you so sick of seeing & hearing about me,...my complaints, my thoughts, my opinions, my long-winded stories & explanations, yata yata yata...

and since I had such a shitty start to the new year of 2007, I decided to do this as "the" BIG change & celebration to the new year :P How bout that!!!

and why was my new year shitty you might ask, well, I had the WORSE new year's eve celebration ever...in summary, we attended to a friend's grandma's 91st birthday dinner @ Evergreen Hotel, and at 11:35pm, after one too many drinks + a very bad temper + an overcooked fish + complaints and supposed promise that was made by the manager to take the fish out of the bill => argument with relatives + banging on tables + shouting at the manager + flying glasses & broken glasses...I think you get the picture...Hence, we missed out on the fireworks display at gurney drive at midnight. I didn't even get to wish Sam happy new year until 12:45am...sigh...Mimi & I were so pissed although we sat patiently & watched the whole drama...he spoiled New Yr's celebration for all of us, just because of a stupid overcooked fish. I will not forgive him for this. So "kway hoon". Alcohol can really make ppl do crazy things >:(

It's not only a new yr's eve celebration that turned sour...things are still all wrong for me...it has indeed been a bad start to the new year...I do hope things will improve for the better...it has been quite depressing for me for the last few weeks...not sure why...hormones running wild?...hhmm...I have been having bad mood swings lately...need more yoga to relax myself :P probably because I did not go to the gym & yoga for 1 month in Dec '06...no "happy" hormones running thru my body :P gotta go back to my excercise routine asap before I fall into depression :S

...but I guess that not only are things bad for me...I think the whole world is affected by a bad start to the new year...war & bombings caused by men...and by nature, the cause is - two words - "El Nino"...bad floods have hit Malaysia, and we sit here in the office wondering when it will hit Penang...reports of a heavy rain storm in Penang over the weekend was thankfully not very heavy...but however, the east coast states were not so lucky. So, I shouldn't be complaining, should I...but I AM only human...and "complain" is my middle-name as Sam always claims...hehehe...
